Treasure, Giant's Tooth

It's hard to say whether this thing is a sculpture or a real tooth. It sure looks like a molar larger than a barbarian's fist. Someone has carved the crown to resemble a city in most intricate detail. Winding, cramped streets of the city are inhabited by tiny ivory people. The detail is fine, so fine in fact that viewing the scene with a magnifying glass is downright unnerving. Such craft is hard to explain.

Most unnerving thing about the tooth is that every time you look, the scene changes a bit. Those dogs who were lounging near the fountain are now fighting and the widow talking to the guardsman is pouring water on them. Some men have appeared with a mule cart and are dragging lumber up the hill. They are building something huge in the centre of the city.What is it? Hard to say with all the scaffolding obscuring the view. If you managed to shrink yourself small enough to walk the streets of the city you might find out.

Price: A purveyor of creepy things might pay handsomely for such a thing.
